I have been hearing alot about this new 500 from honda but I haven't gotten a straight answer on when its comong out, even my local dealer isn't sure or just won't say. Does anyone one have any idea when they are do to be released and how much will they cost. I'm itiching to buy a new quad I just hope it's as good as they say.

 

The Rubicon is to come out sometime late Spring 2000 (according to atv action magazine).

well i heard from my dealer they said that they will come out in early june. Also my dealer said
the price would be around $7,000 dollers wich thats preety expencive for a fulltime 4wd and no
independent suspendtion i think thats to high of a
price for any body to by.

 

For $7000 Honda throws in the drum brakes for free.

 

I have got a good friend that works at a honda place they have already got the rubican in he show me them in a create in the back. He said that they have had them since the first of march. He said that honda will announce when they can go on the showroom floor.

yes but no one is supposed to know that. I bet if you ask they will say that they do not know what you are talking about.

 

they won't sell unless the price is ALOT lower!

 

I talked with my source at Honda today. The Rubicon is to be released most likely in May.

Also, the statement about the Rubicons being in the back of dealers warehouses is silly. If you were an owner of a shop, would you pay for a quad to sit in your warehouse and not sell? Storage costs money, unsold quads cost money, quads cost money. Someone has pulled your leg.

My source at Honda laughed at that one. Rubicons will not ship until they are released.
