A friend of mine just got some Maxxis ?? is that it - tires on his Warrior - and they look sweet!! The inobbies must be 2 inches big !
Ive been wanting to replace the tires on my 400 when they go bald soon - with the Holshot XTC - they seem ok - but those Maxxis are really nice also - any suggestions on tires for this machine - or any machine for that matter.
I ride in the dunes alot with paddles - but when Im not at the dunes - its trail riding... In Baja! What should i get !

Are you talking about Maxxis All Tracks?
I have 22" All Tracks on my 400EX. They are great for trailriding, especially if there is mud, but I have stock gearing so they bog the motor down on big hill climbs. Also they don't slide too well. They work great in snow. They work great in the dunes. I think they even work better than my Kenda Trakker sand paddles in the dunes.

I've had the XCTs on for about 500 miles now. And the quad feels like it should have been born with them.I love em.

Remember the XCTs are a softer compound than the Maxxis and will where faster but the grip is awesome.

As for the gearing for the 22 try 14/39 that will put you slightly lower than stock, And you will rocket out of the hole. top speed around 65-68.
see yea.

I have maxxis Razr tires on my 1986 250R and they are great. I did down size the front for sharper turning. They are hard as a rock and wear forever. They slide great and worked well on trails and were great in the mud but sometimes I found my self wishing for more ground clearence.

go with the XCT's....I have them all around on my 400 EX. I was getting flats all the time before I used them. I tried 4 different tires before the XCT's. I run the GNCC and after i put them on, (half way through the series) i NEVER GOT A FLAT!!!

They work so good, they slide nice and hook up perfect...the fronts and the rears.
