If i were you id forget the parking brake even existed. Most quad parking breaks dont work for squat. The only time i've seen one work time after time was my friends old blaster(parking brake was on the front brake handlebar). Ive seen a brand new 300ex that was maybe a few hours old and it just quit and my friends ex he just got(used) it doesnt work either. the best thing to do is on a trailer leave it in nuetral and use tie downs and when your riding just make sure your on flat land when you get off or if your on a hill and momentarly get off leave it in 1st gear but i dont like to do that, especially for a long period of time.

if your not usin the parking brake you should get a block off kit so that the parking brake mechanism doesnt rub against the roters and ware then prematurly
