I might be buying a 400ex. Does anyone have any problems with them? How is there gas milege? What should I watch out for? What kind of nerfs fit best? Thanks

I have a 2000 400ex and love it. As far as the nerfs, go with the ACs they are built well and fit good too.

 

I have a '99 400EX and the only problems I have had are :
1.fuel petcock came loose
2.The washer the back plastic and seat slide into worked loose and fell off. $5.00
3.black plastic fades real bad
4.The black rubber bushing the rear plastic slides into on the left side always falls off.
Gas milage is o.k.
I have the DG nerf bars but the AC RACING nerfs I think look alot better.
