Whenever I'm riding in deep mud or water fast, My recon starts spitting and sputtering and then dies. It will start but wont rev until about 30 minutes of clean running. Is something wrong?

well the only thing it sounds like to me that when you hit that cold water with you'r hot engin,
thats what I think is causing it but I would try to go in slow and if it still does it call you'r dealer.

Try taking off your spark plug wire, and put some dielectric grease in the end of it. It will help keep your plug insulated against the water.
