OH sorry Rincon the 88 CR motor and 88 TRX motor did not look even remotly the same. A 80 cr motor was close.

yes they did, mabey not if they were side by side, but BSICALLY they looked the same, just the big factory pipe looked different.

Yeah I guess if you did not notice the power valve on the front and if you were about 100 feet away they almost look alike.

lol,buncha smartasses,sometimes ppl on this forum crack me up,I think the 97 or 98 125 had a 5 speed tranny,my 94 has a 6,all I know is the 2002 CR250 will make your a$$hole pucker,My 86 trx250r dont even come close!!!!!

well the HP readings were in the Mags, i have some from '92 and that's what they say.

Well I think the mags fed you a load of BS ! If that were true why would people put CR500's in 250R frames?.....to loose power...LOL..i dont think so...the 500's have power in the 50's...not the 20's...

could you put a cr250r motor into a 300 or 400 frame? would it be better? price range?!

The CR500 engine hasn't changed since '86. Off the showroom floor you're looking at 65 hp regaurdless of any year after that. A CR250R making 55 hp is a little bit far fetched I think. Unless it's piped and has other engine work done.
