Guys, be realistic. If you were an owner of a dealership, would you pay several thousand dollars for a quad to sit in a crate in your warehouse and not sell it? Dealers don't have money to just sit there. My source at Honda said they are expecting to start shipping the Rubicon in Mid-May. No sooner. He absolutely laughed at the concept of dealers hiding them. That would be a complete waste of $$$ to sit in a warehouse. Cost is expected to be just a tick above 7000.00 Probably right at 7200.00. As for the crate marked TRX500FAE, uh, all I can say is a picutre of a crate would certainly surface if it existed. The Front Axle Engagement bit, lol, that is funny, My Rancher is then just a Front Engagement. Don't take it wrong guys, just be realistic........

Phalynx, if some dealers have a Rubicon to test, I bet Honda didn't make them pay for them. Thats not to say I think they do, but who knows. By the way I looked at some of your videos, good job. Also I was wondering how the 26" tires effect the Ranchers performance? I'm thinking of 26" Mudrunners or Titan 589s'. Thanks for any info.

Hello I am not trying to start trouble but don't you think $7200 is a lot for a bike when you can buy a bike with a lot more features for close to $6000 just wondering what some of your opinions are on this.

If they're not coming out until July or August, then why are they making them already at their South Carolina plant?

It's like anything, if you want something bad enough your going to pay the price their asking. I've probably spent close $6800 for my sp500 when you factor the price of the bike plus the repair bills. If the honda holds up better than the Polaris the price may not be out of line.

forget the rubicon. get a rancher es 4x4 for 5200, then spend the extra two grand on accesories (when the surface) or a downpayment on somethin to hawl it in......i bet the rancher will be more trail worhthy anyway....

I would bet Wisco has or will have a big bore kit for the Rancher that will safly and reliably bring it up to a 400cc motor.
