Kag--remember when we discussed how Honda has been so secret about what is going on? I was talking to Honda friend who went to the dealer show in New Orleans. They went thru all the new models and everything. Case closed? Guess not. Truck shows up 2 or 3 weeks later and it has two 750cc Valkyries (sp?), I believe. No mention of it at the dealer show or anything! they just showed up with the documentation of here's two and there will be more later, thanks. Kinda weird, huh?

well, I went to a dealer ship in Shreveport... the guy said they'd be getting a rubicon in around april... so that's coming soon.. he said that they would only have one to let people test ride, they couldn't sell it because no one else had one.. just thought I'd throw in my two bits..

TXDoc; I spoke with one of the guys from the plant this afternoon at a local store. I asked him if he knew a target release date. He said they had to produce a certain number for the first release before they would put them in the showrooms. They want to have enough so that all dealers will be able to have a few as they are expecting strong early demand and do not want to have a situation like happened to Yamaha when the Grizzly came out and they sold them all out faster than the factory could build them.

 

Originally, the Rubicon was to be offered in Honda's racing color-Red. But, now it will also be available in Olive.
