i am going to need to put new plastic on my 300ex soon and i was wondering what color and what brand. i was thinking about going with like white or yellow cause it won't show scratches as bad. what do you all think?

i was thinking about going with race cut cause i like the look better and i that you can see better. but as far as the color the reason i was going to do like white or yellow is cause i am going to keep the stock headlight with plastic and it was red so i needed something to match that wasn't going to look bad with a few scratches. i know black would look good but after just a few rides you can see scratches. would you recommened maier shiiny or dull??

Well the dull plastic wont show up as many scratches but the shiny looks real nice. You can also checkout fullboreinnovations.com they have some bad azz plastic.

Fullbore is by far the most durable plastic out there in my opinion. My friend has a full race 310r and he has used all the brands of plastic but he swears by fullbore for looks and durability.

The new Maier looks real good and it is thicker and tougher in appearance than Fullbore. I bought some new Maier in silver about 2 months ago the fit seems real good, but I have yet to ride with it since my new quad is not ready. Personally, I like a white quad, but I just got the silver cause it was new and different. However, it is looking like everybody is going to have the silver.

yeah i heard fullbore was a little better but isn't it alot more expensive. i used to have maier on my kx80 and i thought it was nice. is maier hard to drill the holes and get it lined up correctly? i really think i like the look of a white quad to thats why i am thinking about getting that color. plus it won't show scratches as bad.

The fullbore plastic is kind of pricey your mostly paying for the name.Drilling the holes should be no problem.Good luck on what you choose.
