Hi , I am in the process of buying a 84 Big Red , needs a little love but it runs good so I am happy. My questions are the following:
Best Fuel to use, what grade?
Best Oil to use - for both winter and Summer months?
Any other tips would be great for keeping it running nicely..
Thanks guys much appreciated!

These are very low compression engines and any pump fuel will be fine.
10W40 during the winter months and 20W50 during the summer months.
The BigReds are pretty well built trikes. Keep the oil changed regularly and keep a good check on the airfilter and you will be fine. Also remember to keep fresh gear oil in the rearend. Those are expensive to repair if damaged.
If you are still running the steel fuel tank that came on it, install an in-line fuel filter. If it hasn't already...soon the tank will show signs of rust.
