Hey guys im new to this board but from what i have seen this is the place to be. I have a'96 300ex with a fmf exhaust and bandit tires front and rear. i recently bought a white bros. mikuni carb, i was wondering what this thing should be jetted at? It seems to have excellent power midrange to top end but i cant get it to idle at all. It seems to be getting to much gas. I'm not sure but i think the jet on the stock carb was a 130 and the main jet on this carb is a 155, which seems huge!! So what size jet would you guys recomend? thanks in advance.

The jets are bigger because the carb is bigger. It sounds like your main jet is ok. I would try turning the idle mixture screw until you get it to idle...If that doesn't work, you might need a smaller PILOT jet.
