Is the Rincon disappointing?

I BOUGHT A RINCON THE LAST OF AUGUST,HAVE 300 MILES ON IT. THE SMOOTH RIDE IS BY FAR THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS MACHINE. IT CAN REALLY HANDLE THE SHARP TURNS AND YOU CAN TURN IT AROUND VERY EASILY ON A NARROW TRAIL. I RIDE WITH 2 FRIENDS THAT OWN P 650'S AND THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE IN SPEED. THE ONLY PROBLEM OR SHORT COMING WITH THE RINCON IS THE LACK OF A LOWER GEAR FOR GOING DOWN STEEP HILLS THAT ARE ROUGH. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE ESP. I USE IT EXCLUSIVELY,NEVER USING DRIVE.THE ENGINE IS VERY QUIET,ESPECIALLY IN THIS MODE. IF IT IS AS RELIABLE AS THE REST OF THE HONDAS, I WILL BE VERY SATISFIED.

skip shot if you had a polaris you had a locked front dif. Polaris was the first maker (with the traid boss 250) their first 4X4 quad to have a true 4X4 not a 3 wheel drive like everyone else.
Honda came out w/ a limited slip dif on the Rubicon and uses it on the Rincon. To me it works better than most units the Yam system unlocks at to low a speed and the KAW you have to pull a leaver, It works much better than the YAM and locks up tighter than the honda but it is an extra step and the Honda system works so why add work to your ride.
The problem W/ Polaris is the rear tires need to slip for the fronts to engage and 4 wheel drive is supposed to prevent wheel slip, also if you have the 4X4 switched on and you are trying to slide the unit it gets squirly as the front kick in and out. In the end it is what you can live with.
