You've got a 300EX - so you need something of a different size to deal with the thieves. I, personally, prefer a 500, 870 or 1300 myself. (Mossberg, Remington, or Winchester, that is)!!!

Thats just great quadfather.Glad to see you dont harbor any bitter feelings. HondaGuy lock that thing up with every chain you have laying around.Voodu is right, most thieves wont work very hard for their target. I guess thats sort of what makes a thief a thief. Lazy worthless bastards. The idea of the bushes was my personal favorite but unfortunately you can be the one getting sued for defending your own property. Isnt it a wonderful legal system we have?

yep lock her up tight.
next watch for these clowns, and if ya see them, have the camcorder ready! Video works great in court!
PLus, take off 2 of the wheels and tires and take them in the house. they wont want to mess with it unless they can get it quickly, or are sure they have time. got a motion sensor yard light yet? why not? theyre $12. put one inside the garage too.
hope these ideas help you..

I had someone messing around with my car, then I got them, well sort of. All you will need is some chicken wire, grounding rod, some electrical wire, a little bit of water, and a good source of electricty. Needless to say I was in bed and awoke to the sound of someone screaming. By the time I got out there there was no one out there but the flower garder beside the car was tore all to he11. Someone had went through it on there hands and knees. No one ever messed with that car after that.

Now about the quad. I would fasten it down through the main part of the frame with a chain not a cable. bolt cutters will cut the cables and I seen a guy only have his DG bumper chained to his tree. Lock it up in a shed or garage. I have eye bolts in floor of garage with chain hooked to them. If they want them that bad they will take it no matter what.

I leave the intercom on in the garage. The other in the bedroom. If a mouse takes a dump, I can hear it. I keep my 9mm loaded.

Novakaw650, I like your idea. I would use something mid way between the 870 and the 1300. I feel the 1100 or 1187 is the perfect size for me! (Remington auto shotguns) 3 1/2 inch long brass. Hand loaded. Lead kills then you get in trouble. I would prefer to tightly pack salt into the shell. Talk about major stinging sensation. Pop them in the backside and they won't even be able to WALK away.
