I was trying to figure out what was meant by "copying" before I responded......... The only thing that could have made Cannondale MORE different is if they would have taken ATV's back to 3 wheels.

Talk about copying, how 'bout those z400's or is that 400EXRR [400ex-radiator-reverse] It's a great product but it's Suzuki's cookie cutter , parts bin COPY of the EX. Just as the DRZ was their answer to the XR400. That being said, If I were in the market to buy a quad today, I would buy the KFX 400.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I USED TO wonder why y'all gave the Captain such a hard time.

 

I tried to look it up but the listings are for class not overall, I heard it on the broadcast and in an interview w/ him. They said well you did it again after a race shown on tv. The last race I watched they said he almost had 3 but for a flat?? I try to watch the races and would love to ride one but none are close plus the way I work I can not follow very close. I do know one race had several pro-pro quads in the top 10 or so but yes it was raining.

 

I did not post to instigate or say the 250R quad were not great quads I raced them for years. My point was I think that the pro-pro quads as they get sorted out and more involvement from top riders are going to be right up ther w/ the 250R based quads for possibly a few less dollars. I think the ATV race scen is at an all time high and want to see it grow. For to many years people lost interest b/c IMO people want the FORD Chevy so to speak you know it is not a real production unit but hon vs suz vs kaw is a better battle than which high dollar hand built "HONDA" won this week.

 

I will admit that I'm a die hard 2 stroke fan....I'm guessing that as 4 strokes take over, it will be MUCH more expensive to modify them versus a 2 stroke. I have 2 250R's, and a Z400. Although the Z400 is fun, when I ride it I really miss the 2 stroke hit. When all of the power is transfered to the ground, doesn't that make it kind of boring?
