Just a few questions,I am trying to decide which bike to buy only problem is that the rincon has not arrived here in canada yet where I live so I dont want to wait if its not the bike I should buy. I was wondering the difference between the two rincon and rubincon for gas milage. Would the rincon be good for plowing snow cause I will need a bike for that and hauling a small trailer around my yard from time to time. I will not be carrying any weight on it and mostly joy riding. If any of you guys that have both or owned both at one time could you respond to my questions cause Iam very excited and can't wait to get my new bike. I sold my 400 foreman and have no bike now.

The Rubicon is a work-horse more suited for utility and hard work compared to the Rincon. The Rincon is a soft ride with loads of power and it's set-up more for fun and fast riding than actual work. The Rincon has no low range so plowing snow????? There aren't any kits available ( that I know of) and no-ones had enough winter to test one yet. Another major difference is the ability of the Rubicon to use engine braking for going down hills, something the Rincon sucks at in comparison.

I do not own a Rincon but I do have a Rubicon it is a great work quad it is comfortable and the tranny is the best thing ever put into a quad. It is no sportster but that was not why I bought it. For working I do not think that a better unit is made.
I have a P650 and if I put a 100lb sack on back the shock is bottomed w/ the Rubicon I can put 2 on back. The same for the front, I say this b/c if you are going to put a plow on front the sport quads might sag to much when you lift it also IRS will sag when you put a trailer on back. I am guessing about the weight of a plow b/c I have no use for a snow plow, last winter I think it got down to a blistering 60 deg f so I would not know a slow plow from a snow shoe.
I do find the sterring to be quit hard on the rub though.

If the Rincon doesn't haul as much as you described and plow as much darn snow as we all know you get up there; 'like a champ' no less..............

Then I have no idea why they even attempted to 'build' the darn thing!

All this talk that it's 'strictly a machine that works really good in a straight line, on smooth, level ground (exaggeration)....... and it's no 'workhorse'..........seems like a bunch of garbage in my mind.

Buy the best machine out there (Rincon) and when your Rubicon buddy is whining about his 'aching back' (no IRS) and that his arms are tired (see above) let him ride the 'Cadillac' for a while so that you both can get out of the Newfoundland bush without getting mauled by a bear during one of his 'rest' stops.
