I know Powroll makes a kit you can buy to bolt the engine in the cahssis for around $100(just to bolt the engine in, no wiring or exhaust). But is this just some thing small that can be done at home? I mena, can I make my own kit instead of buying theirs?(nothing against Powroll and Pam, they are great people, just trying to save some cash)..

So anyone out there who has done this swap, whats the Powroll kit have in it? Is it just some fabbed or modified brackets?

Just some info, I fab alot of things and have my own welder, grinders, etc. So I can pretty much make almost anything.

 

Do a search on this there are some old posts about it.

 

The biggest thing is getting the motor mounts set up right, and if I remember correctly,you will have to notch the frame near where the top of the 350x motor sits to clear an oil line.
Hey ModdedX, have you had a chance to get some photos of shock mounst for my 300ex to get the 400ex a arms/shocks mounted? Just checking to see if you still remembered.
