I'm sorry to annouce, but I have to sell my 2000 400EX. I have to sell it because I'm buying a house and the extra money to put down will be very helpful. Plus, I don't have time to ride, I haven't rode my quad in probably 4 months. I was wondering how much should I ask for my quad? Here is a list of upgrades: K&N Filter, Jet Kit, Custom Milled Air Box, .190 Douglas Aluminum Alloy rear wheels, 22" ITP Hole Shot Rear tires, FMF Power Core IV Pipe, Rear Swing Arm Plate, and Nerf Bars. Also included is the stock rear tires and wheels.

Ask about 4700 and you may get lucky and try to back down from lowering it until they refuse unless you do. i would not go lower than 4000. I do not know what quality the machine is but if it well maintained i beleive i gave a good estimate. You should definatley put it in the want ad to sell it because I looked through there all the time and to get a quad and went to see one but i ended up getting a new one. A lot of my friends got them from the want ad. Avoid dealer selling and do not try to sell it from your front lawn. That almost never works.

With the performance items you have added some people will shy away from it, thinking abuse, know matter what you tell the potential buyer.

Used buyers like very clean stock machines and they will bring the most.

4700 lol thats nutssss, u could probally get 3300 is a good price.i could get a new one for 4700.

 

Ive seen a stock 250ex go for $3800. There are crazy people out there. You put stuff in there head and they buy it. You just have to find a sucker.

 

A fair price to sell your 400 is around 4400-3800.... You could also take off your exhaustand other mods and sell them for a better price if you were to sell them with your quad..... JMO

 

Avengr9914- I didnt get much for mine when I sold it, but I wanted to sell it fast. If you wait long enough you can find a buyer for the price you end up asking.

 

I sold mine for $4150, all stock except for a set of paddles to go with the stock rear tires. If you have the stock components that were taken off, I would put them back on and sell the other stuff separately.
