I have a 2000 Honda 450ES that I bought new a couple of years ago. It's a great machine everything works fine but I want to change a couple of things.
First question: I really like the camo plastic that comes on some of the new fourwheelers and I was wondering if anyone has tried the moose camo tape kits with any success? How hard is it to put on? Does it stay on during towing and washing?
Second question: Has anyone put on one of Warn unlocker kits on there Honda? How hard is it to put on? Is it reliable? Does it help the steering effort for trail riding?
I know I still won't be happy with the bumpy ride of what I have but if I can ease up the steering a little, have the ability of doing some powerslides in 2wd mode and can give it a camo look I might not be as tempted to sell it and buy a new sportsman RSE.
Have a good one.

I don't know about the camo tape, but I installed a Warn 424 unlocker on my '98 450s about a month ago.
This unit is very well built and the instructions are great and very detailed, all in all an easy install.
Performance?: Fantastic, steering is far, far lighter, bike is fun to ride, a little faster and so on. I highly recommend this product.

If you really want to use the camo tape, I would suggest spray glue on the fenders first. But instead I would buy the camo covers that go with your model. They run about $120-150, but you can take them off and still keep the fenders the original color.
