300ex riders

Default 300ex riders

I have a 2002 300ex piped, jetted, airfilter. I want to put a bore kit in. does anyone have a bore kit in their 300 does it make a big difference. I mean full bore cam everything.

You can do what ever you want but I wouldn't do it. The money spent for what you gain and the reliability lost it just wouldn't add up for myself.

I am not knocking the 300EX at all because I owned one for two years and it was a very good quad, its just that I would save my money for a larger displacement, better handling quad. The 400EX.

i agree,
i have prettymuch the same quad.......it's nice
but i didn't want to get into the motor....

So i bought a new 400ex.....
but i stiil love to ride the 300 now and then.....

I love the new Fred Icon. I am old enough I actually watched the Flintstones when I was a kid in the early sixties when it was on at prime time in the early evening.

The 300ex does so well in the woods on the tight trails it can keep up with most anything.

(my girls brothers)

i think he wants about 3900.

i've rode it a few times it runs very nice........

Big bore 300's run very good. Horsepower gains are great but I honestly have to say you might as well get the 400.
