high performace cam

does anyone know where i can get a cam for my 250x and the bennifets/problems with them and the price of one thank you

You can get cams from ritter cycle. Or trinity racing. I installed one in my friends 250X. It was called a midrange cam. It seems to be a very good cam choice for a non competative atv.I see no down falls to using it.

When you install a cam such as a White Brothers you will probably need to change valve springs to prevent coil bind

The cam is about $100 the springs are about $115

I did not use new valve springs with the cam i installed. I called webcams and they told me it was a drop in cam.

The aftermarket valve springs are alot stiffer to prevent valve float. The individual I spoke with at White Bros. said they were needed.
