Default Rubicon suspension

Hi Guys, any sugestions on how to smoothen a Rubicon suspension? This is a great machine but a bit to stiff for my back. Comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

A stiff suspension is the nature of this beast. No matter what you do, its still a solid axial. You may have to trade up to a Rincon. Early reports suggest the Rincon's IRS is on a par with that of the Grizzly, Sportsman and the Artic Cat, which all have smooth rides.

Default Rubicon suspension

Hi there. I just purchased a kit from a Quebec manufacturer named Perfex industries or such, who distributes through Motovan. The kit I bought is for the TRX 350 and although I haven't installed it yet, I have read that it will improve the ride by about 1/3. I paid approx. $150 Canadian and I believe he makes them both for the 450 and the Rubicon. It is a lot cheaper than aftermarket shocks and if it is only a marginal improvement, I'm not out that much. I'll let you know how it works once I install it although it may be a little while since it is hunting season. Good quading.

I also got a Perfex kit on my Honda 450ES and it makes a huge difference !!!
With a passenger, you can ride 20-30 mph in rough terrain without fear of receiving a fist in your back ...
Every time I lend my ATV to a friend for a test ride, he immediatly goes to buy a PERFEX kit ...

I saw a Rubicon with the PERFEX kit installed and it does make a big difference. The kit covers all 3 shocks and it is ajustable to 3 levels of comfort.

The WEB site for PERFEX is www.perfexcanada.com
The WEB site for the distributor is www.motovan.com

BamnBamn, I wen't to the motovan website but didn't see anything about this kit. I did find it on the perfex website though. All I saw on the motovan website was stuff for suspension lifts. Could someone maybe let me know the link directly to the page showing the suspension improvement kit.Text Iwould not mind buying it for the 450ES I am picking up in the spring.

Swampdonkeykiller or is it Moose? Anyway, you're right. I have looked for the Perfex kit on the Motovan website previously and didn't think he made them for the 350. I actually e-mailed Perfex in regards to his product last spring. I was a the local Honda shop on Whyte avenue enquiring about some parts when I noticed his Motovan catalogue and started thumbing through it. Sure enough his catalogue listed the Perfex suspension kit. I ordered at the beginning of August and they just got it now. I hope this helps.
