what would be a good light weight rim that i could buy to put 27" mud bugs on a honda 450 s?

Buy the ITP magnum rims, along with those tires you'll be running the lightest 27 wheel and tire combination. The rims save 7lbs per wheel over the normally used steel wheels.

If you go with an aluminum rim, make sure it's at least .190. I've heard that the Douglas .190 is stronger than the Magnums. I don't have any personal experience with them though.

stump what size are your rims?

do u ever get high centered because of the low ground clearence?

Front --12x6
Rear--12x8
I haven't been anywhere for that to be a problem since the new tires(yet). I have one spot behind my house that I would hi center on with stock tires. Now I plow right through that.
