I recently purchased new Honda OEM Decals for my 1988 250R. What is the best way to put the decals on and get them straight.Someone told me to put soapy water on the plastic then put the decals on.You should then be able to move the decal around and it will stick. Has anyone else heard this method.

 

Soapy water works as well as alcohol.

I use the alcohol in the spray bottle method myself. It works the same as water, but also acts as an extra adhesive once it dries because it "melts" into the glue on the decal.

Either way works.

There is also a product out there called "Sticker-On" that is specifically made for putting on stickers. I personaly think it's someone getting rich from putting soapy water in a bottle and then selling it for $5.00......LOL
