Does anyone know who sells a 300-305 kit for the 300EX. I would like it to be at least a real 300 if I can't put a 350 topend on it. How much more horsepower does it put out? Does it run on pump gas? And most importantly how much would it cost?

Mickey Dunlap and them have a 330 kit for $220. He says it's the most power for the buck. later

I think Four-Stroke Tech has a 313cc kit that doesnt' require pulling the bottom end and making room for a larger bore, not sure on the price though. I have heard that's the largest you can go without bottom end work, but know there are 354cc kits (Curtis Sparks) and even 406cc kits (?)available.

Powroll sells a 313cc. White Brothers sells 300cc pistons but not in a kit.

White Brothers has Arias pistons in +2mm(297cc) and +3mm(305cc)for about $130. They are 11:1 compression. I don't think you really gain that much, maybe 1-2 horsepower. I could be wrong, but mine doesn't feel much faster.

I put a FST 330 kit in mine, just pull the cylinder and take it to a good machine shop with his sleeve and piston. No need to machine the cases. Also comes with a new cam and springs. Put on a 400ex carb. This combo really works great it will wheelie at will (its own)

How much was that kit?

Sounds pretty darn pricey to me. With the cam, springs and piston wold be 300. I dont know how much a sleeve is so.....

But I am interested, I think I will have some sponsorship money to spend after tonight!
