250x vs 300ex

i have a 87 250x with uni fliter ,fmf pipe, and razor rears i like the machine it has decient power but i couldent compare it to a 300ex because i have never rode one but i think with the mods i have it should run with the 300s beacuse i can beat a blaster and that has some power

The 250X is the same exact quad as the 300EX but the gave the 300EX more power and electric start. Im not sure about hte reverse on the 250 but the 300EX has it. The 300EX is the better quad.

the 250 has reverse and has a kick start. next winter when you want to go ride your 300 and it wont start becuasae the battery is dead i hope you rembr what it the better quad not even mentioning that a 250 has a higher compresstion engine and stock to stockthey will be right toghter ill take your 300 my 250 any day. i dont want to start a war because we are all on the side (honda) but the 250 looks nicer too with the varity of colors just thought i would ad that

Oh i dont know about that SH#TER(exlax) The 300EX has the same bore, but is stroked, that means that this machine will take you in the long run, if both machines are stock. the 250 does have a nice color scheme, i just looked at a very clean '87 250X, mostly white plastic and red seat. I didnt get to ride it cuz the salesman said that it would rip up the lawn since it was sloppy out(dealer is in town). What is the compression ratio difference? I know the X has 9.4:1, but what does the 300Ex have? thanks

they both have the same anoying reverse system. You think in 13 years they would have figured out a better way to use reverse. I am not sure if he choke system is the same but that is anoying also.

250X, i own a 250X and i just raced a 300Ex stock last night, we checked out our topends and he had 2-3 mph faster than mine, however he has a fourteen tooth front sprocket, compared to my 13. that is all the modifications he has done. Nope sorry i doubt you beat that many 300EX's. And you wont beat me cause i actually know how to ride!!! just kidding
