Don't over clean it though, they work better with a little dirt on them.
I keep my K&Ns as clean as possible. Lightly oiled with their spray on oil, use a clean Outerwear. I've been running K&Ns for about 15 years now, all my quads, my pickup, wife's car and the motorhome all have them.
Cleaner is better with any air filter.
