OZ-400EX,
I have been talking to Chad and he keeps telling me that its coming and will be released together with that new CRF250 four stroke MX bike, that is what Honda have told him, he also said that he spoken to people that have seen it. It will have to be a lot better than my Z for me to trade up, as I am quite happy with the Zuk.
I have not joined the club because I don't race, but I do Know Craig and the boys and have been to Lancelin with them on rides.

Its a new year, there has to be NEW rumors or it just wouldnt be the same. Boy do we all wish big red would finally do something in the sport market, but I dont have my hopes up. What I do have my hopes up for is the new 450 from cannondale rumored to be around the corner! Now that would be the ultimate ATV to grace the earth.

If it is true that Honda management delayed the release of the 450 until it sold off stocks of 400EX's, this was a terrible marketing decision on their part!! Everybody who would buy a 450, ALREADY HAS A 400EX. The EX market is saturated at the top end, and those looking for more performance have had to turn to other manufacturers. Honda ia still going to sell loads of 400EX's to entry level riders (especially if they keep the big discounts), so I don't see what their problem is. The suits blew it on this one!!

Dealers don't seem to no much when you get right down to it. Out of about 6 dealers we have 2 of them seem to have a clue and they wont even talk about potential quads until the manufacturer anounces them. One of my main riding buddie's brother in law want's a quad but he knows nothing about them. He went to a Polaris dealer who told him this would be the last year they make the Predator. I thought that was a pretty amazing statement to demonstrate this dealer's ignorance.

Yes, Honda has really messed up. We all know something is coming due to the fact that 400ex's are going for as low as 4699! But they should have priced them like that once the Z came out, or before cause we all knew months in advance about the Z. I was on the waiting list for months with money down no less. Now honda can't release this new "super quad" until they liquidate. Bad move Honda. I can't wait to have my Z pumped to a 470. Watch out predator cause I'm flyin by ya now. Good luck to all those who will wait. To those who don't, just go get a Z, reverse rules, or a predator as I've heard nothin but rave reviews from owners.
