you need to check out the stock tires, Ohtsu Radials, they put them on the 400EX stock, they started out on the R's. they are good tires, once I run out my tires on my soon to be 250X, i am going to put the 400EX tires on the X. These tires will be good for the trails, and even help you when it gets slick.
Hope this helped.

Holeshots are a soft tire and wear very quickly depending on the amount of riding. Some people put realtors on the rear and say they are a strong tire and last a lot long than others. they seem to be a heavy tire like the itp blackwaters.

I love my stock Ohtsu Radials. I think they work great in the mud and even in 3"-4" light snow cover. They slide nice and hook-up well in the straights. When it is time to replace them, I will either get another set or try the Holeshot XCT's.

I ride an '86 250R three wheeler and I have several rear tires depending on riding conditions. General trail riding in dry weather I use the stock tires which are 20x10x9. If it is a little wet and I need more traction or are running a poker run and I will be in occasional deep mud I run 20x10x9 Bandits, these tires are great all around and get plenty of traction but you can still break them loose. I also run 22x12x9 Realtors in the snow and 20x10x8 Trakkers in the sand.
