Hey, I have an 86' 250r and i was wondering how fast all of your 250r's go. Mine goes about 75 with alot of mods on it. thanx for the replys!

I have a stock 88 trx and it goes about 1-2 mph slower than a brand new stock banshee. I heard that a stock banshee will do about 70. I am not too sure. I am not really worried about the numbers i am more worried about the feel.

 

banshee acuaaly does abot 75 or 80 i was clocked at 74mph on my 400ex

 

stock shee's do about 72..stock 400ex's about 65..stock R's about 68, even tho I have heard of good running stockers hitting 70

 

well if you don't beleive me you can come and see for yourself my dad(a cop) clocked me with his radar hun at 74mph and all performance wise i have done is air box mod. i also only weigh 120lbs

 

get a picture of you riding by the radar gun...also no down hills, increased gearing, pumped up tires or anything of the sort

my friend has a stock 400ex and my other friend has a 400ex with a pro circuit pipe on it and neither of them get anywhere near 74 mph. but your 400 with only a air box mod wont hardly get any faster than a stock 400. at the most, the 400 with the pipe on it will maybee hit 68 but that is pushing it.

like i said come see for yourself. plus i only weigh 120lbs. and did you check the throttle cable on yours?

 

Is that 400 stock? Bigger tires, sprockets? If it is, I think you need to get a new radar gun or stop using vehicle to measure. Stock they radar in the mid 60's.

 

no i have shdder tures on the rear and a airbox mod. but i only weigh 120lbs and the radar gun that i'm using is my dads and hes works for te police so i garuntee that its readin correcly
