My 250EX has been cutting out a lot lately. At first it acted like it might have a little water in the gas. Fresh gas and draining seemed to help, but I think it was just a coincidence. Today it ran poorly and then wouldn'r run at all. when I pulled the plug, there was no spark at all. New plug same result. Any ideas where I should start trying to track down the problem? Any help would be appreciated!

 

i would look at the cable and replace it

spark plug cable have a tendancy to brake inside the insulation if u bend and feel around u may find a broken spot

i would replace that and go from there it may have broken and just been arcing inside the insularion and now they wire has spread to far apart to arc give that a try and post back

 

I had a problem like that but mine was blown up and had a broken valve
