Hey Duster, I don't want to get in a p***ing contest with anybody. I'm just trying to to be unbiased like you in your opinion of the 300EX and Warrior. I'm not trying to sell the 300EX, it sells itself. Yes I luv the way it handles and performs, it's the best bike for me, as is the Warrior for you. To each his own. No hard feelings, Ride hard, ride safe!! Chris0007, like I said before, ride both and make your decision on that. Sometimes us motorheads get carried away, I'm just as guilty as the next guy. It's obvious Duster and I have a passion for our rides, which is a good thing, to an extent.

hey duster does Yamaha have a forum in here? If so why don't you find it.....Why don't all of you anti-honda people stay in your own brand forums instead of telling everyone how wonderful your non-honda is when most of us really don't care.I'm not one to talk trash but this never seems to end..

I ride a polaris myself but I have ridden with some guys on 300s and I was impressed by there overall performance, I guess I have to say I am sort of a honda fan I grew up on them, my only problem with the 300 is the size, Im a big guy and the 300 is cramped for me. Might have to try one of those 400s though someday. Just food for thought.

y2kTHUMPIN300ex,

ANTI-HONDA is quite an overstatement considering I have been the proud owner of 3 Honda dirt bikes and 3 Honda quads and have raced 5 of 6 (1 TRX300 4x4). The present ride is only my 2nd Yamaha quad. Go figure??? ANTI-HONDA please!!!!

So, that's why I come in here. All I did was tell a guy the truth about the two quads so he could make an informed decision. Then of course Hondapride blurred someones clear thinking and they started a small disagreement (that is now over by the way). I never trashed the 300EX. I just told the truth. Whine all you want and argue all you want. The truth is still on my side.

If the truth hurts you that much, maybe you need to take a strong look at more performance, whatever that may be. So, stop filling this post full of meaningless crap, wasting this guy Chris0007's time and yours. Go shopping yourself, shut up and ride, get happy or post something informative and truthful instead of personal attacks.

Hey duster hate to ruin your day but the warroir does make 24 hp, but thats at the crank. It loses 23%of that at the rear wheels which would put it around 17.7hp. It is true they are fast my freinds has one with a filter and jet kit and it will leave my 300EX easily but i would prefer a 300 any day cause it responds better to mods with the four valve head and is easier to maintain.
thanks

duster, warriors blow, throw yours off a cliff, and buy a 400ex, or 300ex. Ohh yeah, and until you do, don't cause anymore trouble in the honda forum.

y2kTHUMPIN300ex, you have no idea what you are talking about. A friend of mine goes through deep water, up over the gas tank and the belt never slips. It's a dead issue! Move on!

hey chris I am the 4 stroke mechanic in my group (ask Mike 300 ex). and honestly the warrior is engine wise unchanged since they started production in 87 or 88.I help all the 4 srtokers in the group and I dread working the warrior.Even something as simple as an on trail chain adjustment on the warrior takes 3 or 4 wrenches but the honda only needs 1.The valve adjustment is also a more difficult task on the two valve warrior but the honda is still more user friendly. well good luck and ride hard

Well your friend is one of the lucky ones then.I have 2 friends that have polaris's and when there belts get any age on them and they go through deep water it starts to slip. Not one of them do this but BOTH.Belts are for lawn mowers...p.s. I think you personally are making a good choice on a 250x. I have had a couple and they are great machines...
