The rancher, not mine, tops out at 51. Just go get it stuck on a pile of snow and shift through all the gears. Im not doughting 48 or 53, actually depending on how level the road is or witch way the wind is blowing and how hard it may vary. But the transmission only gets it to 51.

I really am not into the top speed but most of my friends have moved up to 660 grizzlys and the newer kodiaks.
Me and a buddy of mine had to pullout his cousins 660 grizz numerous times with our ranchers because he kepet getting stuck. If I could I'd show ya the video.
My rancher tops out at about 45 to 49 mph.

Numerous times I've had my Rancher up to 82 km/h's an hour, that's where the rev limiter is in 5th gear, it just bounces betweeen 81 and 82 non stop...that works out to 51.25 MPH.

Do not forget the TOTAL weight of the wheeler AND Rider..........The same wheeler will not go as fast with a 257 pound rider as it will with a 157 pound rider. This may account for some of the small discrepancies between the various top speeds

50mph is plenty fast for a vehicle with a 50" wheelbase.

With 2 people on it it hit 52. That was also downhill so they will probably cancel each other out.

i think u could have 10 people on your quad and it wouldnt take to much longer to get to top speed if u were going downhill.

Both my brother and I topped both our Ranchers out at 81 km/h on Saturday...that's 50.3334 mph....long straight flat dirt road....that's as high as they would go....never reached 82
