Ok somebody dumps bank into a 250r to make it a 330r with all the bells and whistles and wants to know if he can beat a stock quad. c`mon now thats like asking can a breeze take a banshee.

A 100 percent stock 250r is 26-28 hp. A stock rappy is 34. Most 686 rappies are under 50 REAL world HP. If you have any quad that makes in excess of 50 REAL hp you have build a killer machine. I have seen very few that make over 60hp unless it was a banshee. You can have fast 330's and slow 330's. I would not be afraid to line up next to 1.

 

330R would embarrass a Raptor!

 

It all depends. I have seen a few 250r that were way faster than there bigger bore brothers(330's, 295's) Size does not guareentee speed. It all takes time and money.
