400 Ex shocks on 87 250r

Will front 400EX shocks work on a 87 250R ?? The reason I am asking is that my front shocks are toast and I cant afford new ones but I can find good used 400ex ones.

I know works will fit either a 250r or 400ex so i am pretty sure stockers will fit also.

yes they will our 400 has 250r's on it and we put the blown 400's on the 250'r befor we sold it
