Amen, Glenn. If it's gonna hurt, either me or my bike, I try to avoid it. There's only one good way to come down a hill: start at the top and ride it down forward.

Right? Wrong? Andrew, there's no "right" or "wrong" in this case, merely a matter of different interpretations and opinions.

"Better taste!" "No, less filling!" Is one or the other side "right" in the Lite beer commercial? Or is it a matter of individual interpretation and opinion?

Neither side is "right" in a semantic argument with arbitrary definitions of terms (although plenty of religious "fundamentalists" disagree).

A proposition: Take the Meyers-Briggs test. If you DON'T peg the meter needle on the "J" (Judgmental) scale, I'll buy you a steak dinner. (Or, if you're a vegetarian, I'll buy you a tofu dinner, or whatever you'd like.)

If you're more comfortable with the notion One True Interpretation exists, and it's yours; neither 4-Wheel ATV Action, Gordon Banks, BrianWSMC, nor I begrudge you that distinction.

Best wishes and thanks for a civil and interesting discussion.
