the 86 c500 is the fastest. the crank is bigger and it has more compression than any stock 500

 

i have a cr500 quad ,do not get a kx if you want to go fast, i rubber mounted my head stay and steering stay. there are compines that make anti vibe bars and clamps so your hands dont go numb,and deffenlety gusset your frame. good luck !

i think you might be streching what ever you got goin on when you say a suzuki would get its *** kicked


now now now let me tell you my story might it be a dirt bike that im talkin about but none the less its a suzuki i have a 1980pe400 and the bore size is dead stock or was dead stock ya see it hasent been honed or bored ever so its a little worn out like std to lets say around .50 over and it still ran
well let me tell you this thing had enough ***** to break a considerable speed of well over 85 mph and thats at around 500rpms in 4th gear

an old .20 over basic quadracer 250r my buddie had couldnt stay strait after you hit the 4th gear power band and i couldnt hold the front end down he bought a quad zilla and he is nolong able to walk



and they only run on gasoline

 

yea rite, the kx is a paper weight, fastest flying buger.

 

ill give you my cr 500 with out the moter. its a 95. i broke my back on it 01 thanksgiving but its in good shape. make my a offer.
