No one said why the frame won't hold up. Are both frames not made of mild steel tubing? Why will the cr frame last and the trx frame won't? Never seen a answer to that question. I know the cr engine vibrates and is not counterbalanced , I have one. But why will it's frame last and the trx won't ? Does the trx frame have crappy welds or what?

its a good idea and a good investment to go with the hinson clutch basket. That is the only "billet" thing that i would imagine your talking about. Nobody makes a "billet" set of gears from my knowledge. I know baldwin makes a set of gears for the 250r. Rudy Kurtz (guy who is the leader in tranny technology) said the oem gears looked to be of better quality then the baldwins. So take that for what its worth. Other then that a completely stock bottom end will handle a 370. I'd replace the basket though.

DBM I was talking about billet gears. I *** umed that Baldwins were billet. Suprised they are not.
Its reassuring to hear the actual stock tranny gears will hold up under mad power.
A Hinson basket is a good idea, my little 250 will put a hurtin on the stocker in time.
