here's a true life story:::
me and some friends are off trail riding at Fort Polk. We are ridin some pretty intense trails with rocks, jumps, plenty of close trees, and water. I'm on my trusty 400ex. My friends are riding 400ex's, a z400, 300ex.
we get about 10 miles away from camp when we get to a pretty rocky part of the trail. We are flyin through the rocks pretty fast when my friend on the Z stopped. It was smoking. you know why? a rock penetrated the coolant tank. well, since my bike isnt liquid cooled, the 400EX gave the guy on the Z a ride back to camp.

LOL you should have not gave him a ride back to the camp! And for Jaws come over in my area and i will show you what is up on the trails, straight ways, wheelies, or off the quad! the 400EX is an awesome quad, if i could have kept it, and got the new 450r (which honda came out with and will smoke the Z in jus about ne type of competition, except for real slow, tight trails) i would have. stop tryin to start arguments and jus ride for the love of the sport.

the Z aint much, its just a little piece of crap that SUZUKI MADE TO TRY TO BE BETTER THAN HONDA, they succeeded in several areas: it costs more, has more parts to break and it has that nice complicated chain tensioning system, lets not forget how sturdy the frames are. lol. I would never buy a Z, for the price of a Z you could buy a used 400ex, bolt on a pipe and have something faster, cheaper, more reliable and built better.

ne 1 who buys a 400ex is just a dumb a*s, i am a honda fan and ive always been pretty loyal to honda. i used to love the 400ex but as soon as the z came out i had to ride 1. i traded in the 400ex in august 4 my first suzuki, i was never really a big fan of suzuki but i have to say they got it right with the z. it has way more top end power and it will beat the 400ex pretty much every where. now if honda comes out with sumthing else and lives up to there name"performance first" and if it gives the z a run for its money then i might be trading the z in, but untill them u cant buy a better quad than a z400!
