Default Mudlite tire clearance?????

I just put 27-12-12 mudlites on the back of my Rubi and I only have like a 1/2 inch clearance at the bottom of my mudguard. Has anyone had this problem? Do you have to trim the mud guard?
Thanks,Dee
PS I have a lift kit.

From what I have heard, you need to eitheir trim or remove the mudguard on the muffler to make 27" + tires to fit without coming close to or rubbing.

That is why you use a 27X10X12 on the back. The 12 in. wide tire when put on a 7.5 rim makes the tire taller than it should be. Right now your rear tires are taller than your front.

I don't have a problem w/ the tire hitting the exhaust. I've got about 3" clearance there. Its at the bottom of my mud guards.
My rear tires are not taller than the front they are 1/2" shorter.

You should be fine, but if it does start to hit the mud guard just trim it up a bit.
