Rejetting for Altitude
#1
Heading down to the ATV Jamboree in Sept and I am wodering if i need to rejet my Rancher. I was told by 1 person to rejet for 4000 ft and I know we will be riding upto 11-12,000ft and so I would like some imput form those who ride at higher elevations as how they have jetted their Ranchers. Thanks......
( not sure exactly what elevation we are here in Iowa but, I'm sure its well under 4,000ft)

See my post "high altitude riding tricks" in the "other ATV topics" section of the forum (search the term ALTUTUDE). I open up my airbox lid by increasing amounts as I go up in altitude, and it makes rejets unnecessary!! The system has worked well for me.
