Rincon with Itp Atr Radial Tires? or any other atv's
#1
Does any here have the ITP Atr's on there Rincon or know anyone with them?" or any other owners of these tires."
Is there any reason you would go back to stock tires?
Here are my concerns! - Loss of power "Do not want to be beat by my Dad"
-Making the steering to stiff or to easy.
-Creating a much rougher ride.
-Loss of ground clearance.
The reason I am really considering these tires because the dealer will give good money for the stockers and also cost price on the new Atr's if I do it before taking the Bike home.
I am worried that the stockers will be no good in the soft stuff we have here because of the front tires are so narrow and un aggressive ,they also look like they will wear fast .
Any help would greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks
Mark

The ATRs will give you better handling all the way around. They are 100% better than stock and if you order the same size as stock you will not loose any ground clearance or power!

goattrotter,
It will be a little rougher, you can't help that but it will pay for itself over time with flat protection. They also offer better self cleaning than the stockers.

The ATR's are a good choice for an all around tire. Traction is great and I don't think there is a change in the ride quality. You might consider the Maxxis All trak tires if you would like to save a little money. Both of these tires work well on big utilities. We are waiting for spring here to see how the atr's do in mud and in real hard pack. Either way you go, it should be better than the stockers and last a lot longer.

When you went riding with the 2 rincon's you said the one had the Atr's and one had the stockers,my question is was there a big difference between the two? Traction?
Climbing?

We just switched wheels with a foreman today on one of our rincons (cut the side wall on the front). First just the front was switched just to continue the ride. The bike handles horrible and no wonder with the stock tires on the back. Then I changed out the rears.....what we noticed was the off set on the foreman rimes is huge! We were laughing thinking about taking a tour out and trying not to lose the tourist. The bike now looks like its ready for a MX track more than a trail ride. Also the foreman has dunlop 407's on the back. I was talking to the guide on the radio the first hour and he said seems pretty cool so far. We'll rake'em a bit this afternoon and I'll let you know what happens.
btw make sure you don't switch the lugs with the rims....rincon wheel, rincon lug.
