Default honda is sleeping at the wheel

My buddy works for Honda America... and I sat on a Rincon 2 years before they hit the showroom. Needless to say, I've been patiently grinning the last few years while all the Honda bashers have been rubbing sticks together hoping and praying the 450EX is a myth. I don't know exactly when it's coming, but I've seen the prototypes. From what I saw they will blow the sport quad segment away... can you say IRS? (that doesn't stand for Internal Revenue Service)

Now are you meaning high performance or sport? But IRS for any of those catagorys seems like unneeded extra weight and problems. Personally I could care less for IRS in any sport or high perf quads, thats the least of my worrys. IMO not the grestest idea, just like an auto tranny in the new Kawi. I would never buy that new VForce just cause of the tranny, it takes away all control and fun.

Honda will NEVER have another fast quad. I know it sucks, but it is true. The next quad will be a great handleing and around 32HP reguardless of engine size. All there quads are underpowered. To me all of Hondas quads are boring. Lazy powerplants, smooth trannies no real thrill there. I just bought my 11 year old a 250EX.

Hey 14, glad your crystal ball is still intact. Mine broke long ago. As far as boring goes, what's so exciting about constant mesh gear and variable speed clutch type trannys. They both been around for over 50 years.

All those Honda bashers might want to be careful. Think about what it will be like when the sleeping
giant is waken.

Dabeechman, of course your Hondas are fast but that's just because there arent any Honda parts left on them.
