Default Plowing with my '03 450ES

Yep, we got a lot of snow here in Maryland this past weekend, about 18 inches where I live. I hooked up the new Cycle Country plow to my new 450ES, and man was it awesome. My driveway and private road is about 700 feet long and I plowed it with ease. The Cycle Country plow kit is absolutely a piece of work. Very high quality materials and all pieces fit perfect. The manual lift is the way to go, it's easy to lift the plow without hardly any effort. I wasn't sure how the differential on the 450 would work in the deep stuff, but I was very impressed. I didn't push all 18 inches at once though, I actually plowed two times, once at about 8 inches, and then once when the snow storm was done. I noticed that when I plowed into the deep stuff all four wheels would turn. The differential actually does what it's supposed to do! I had no problems in the real deep stuff with the weight of the plow. I highly recommend this setup to anyone looking to plow with their ATV. The Foreman performed perfectly, but I'm a little surprised that the fan came on as much as it did. I'm hearing from other owners that this is normal, so I'm really not worried that much.

Just thought I'd share my experience with a new toy.

Glad to hear you like it. It is pretty hard to believe that a 4 wheeler plows as well as it does. Even the heavy stuff at the end of the drive way plows easily. I only have a 4ft blade on my Kodiak and it works great.
