It will run at 90+, but to be on the safe side, I would rebuild at 110. Since the exhaust is bridged it wears quicker than the rest of the cylinder. If you rebuild it before it is totally blown, you can usually just go the next size over. If the bridge is wore down, you usually have to go farther.

A STOCK 250R has 170 to 190 of compression. DONT let it get down to 140 or below. thats very bad!
and for an r that has been bored its ganna be alot hier depending on the bore

i replace my top ring at 20hrs and piston 40hrs. maybe a little less. i only run top ring.

I appreciate all the info. I have got a race in Arkansas the 9 of march so i have got to get this thing going. Maybe I will see some of yall there.

hard to find. Usually ebay. If you need one and cant find one. I know a guy, he can be a little expensive though. But he has quiet a few of them
