I will be riding a 250r in the woods. Its a 88, I like to get some new a-arms. should I get them 1 or 2 inches longer or should I get them the same as what came with it? What brand is the best?

For wood riding the standard is 1 inch wider. As for brands, personally I have a set of Herrmann Racing arms and they have been great, but there are a lot of other good manufacturers so look around.

The best brand is LSR I think but they cost major bucks. Also remeber is you get different length arms you are going to need new shocks.

I have JD Performance on mine and they are great. They don't have all of the adjustablity of LSR or Roll but they cost about 1/2 the price and look and work just as good. IMO

By the way. If you go wider, Your going to want a steering dampner. For sure!

thx for the phone # 4life. Does the R need to be wider for XC racing or riding hard in the woods?

Thats up to you, but i think that the GNCC pro's go +1. You will have to have your shocks revalved or replaced if you go wider though.
