i got the new atvrider mag today when i went to the store, there is an open class sport shootout in it. its really kind of sad how far honda has fallen. out of seven quads, honda placed sixth. i still remember buying my first dirtwheels in 89 and reading about the 250 class shoot out, a shoot out in which honda ranked first out of three quads. oh well, maybe honda will come out with a detuned crf450 quad, atvrider said that honda was talking about building a detuned version of the motor with larger oil capacity.

oh and btw, before you talk about honda reliabilty, the 400ex was the only machine to break during the test, and it broke twice.

 

how old is the EX (99), and...how old are the top performing quads(02's, 03's)? Technology advances son, give honda time. I think the honda bike was the first production "sport" type bike isnt it? Give it time, honda will come back out with another bike.

 

nope, the LT250R. It came out in 85' [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Now if you are talking about the frisr REAL sport quad then yeah, the 250r was, lol

When Honda comes around (and they will) it should be impressive. They will have to compete with all the lastest greatest bikes. This will be fun to see.
