Lucis,
I know it's already Saturday, but if you've not gotten your helmet yet Honda Northwest has a real cool half helmet (HJC) that fits more like a hat. It was I think 79.99 the other day and it'd work well.

I have a HJC like the one U always see in DW the peoples riding the scramblers any way I love it the liners come out they are washable and googles fit nicely on them.
