Default Aftermarket Rincon Front Differential Lock??

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a push button or lever operated locker for the Rincon? If so, where's the best place to buy one?

Check out www.highlifter.com. They offer the detroit locker for many other models, maybe one for the rincon too.

No, there is no push button or lever-type locker currently available for the Rincon. However, highlifter is developing their Detriot Gearless Locker for the Rincon as we speak and should be done in the next couple of months. I am wanting to get one, but I bet they will be in the $600-$700 range for the first year or so that they are out

Thanks guys,

It's a pain in the butt that they don't have it to begin with. How important do you think it really is to have?

Well if you are in a mud hole with one front tire in the air, or not getting traction, you might as well have a 2WD............................................... ....but ours work fine in most situations.

Well, that's what I don't understand. If it acts as they explain, should it transfer the power to the wheel with most traction on the limited slip, or is that a joke?

The Rincon does have a limited slip differential that will work OK as long as the wheels aren't turned. If one is in the air, leep tapping the front brakes and it will help lock the limited slip unit. My differential worked great for the first 3 years, but now is worn out.
