hi ! i have a 400ex 2001, my problem is... the engine shut down after 1 minute...we've changed the piston/ring and the problem still there. Someone told me is the crank shaft bearing...99.9 % sure !![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

So know i need your help....what the hell could it be???

cold weather?

 

did you forget the oil?

 

Maybe oil filter in backwards?

 

did you turn the gas on?

 

you wouldn't believe how many people forget to turn the gas on..........

i came across this guy on the trail and he could not get his banshee started so i reached over and turned his gas on and he broke out laughing.......

 

I hate to say it but I have done that. I pulled the quad out of my truck and it only ran for a minute or two and I was confused why it quit running then I realized that the gas was still off. I couldn't believe I did that but if you get distracted or are in a hurry you can forget.
