I need help choosing between the Honda Foreman Rubicon and the Suzuki Eiger 4X4 automatic. I've heard arguements from both and would like to hear from someone who has tried the both. I want something that can stand up to ultimate conditions.

well buddy...i havent ever owned either one..but ive owned all kinds of honda's...and i tell you what....a honda will last through anything....it is the number one brand in my book....the only thing about them is that they are behind in there sport quads......but my pick would most definetly be the honda

I bought my rubicon primarily because it has a real automatic transmission instead of a belt drive but also because I have owned other honda's before and have found them to be the most reliable machine made.Even the professionals such as seismic crews and surveyors that ride their machines for a living tend to buy hondas more than any other brand so most people do consider them to be the most reliable.

I'd buy the Honda for the resale value alone. We've had a used Eiger on the floor for what seems like forever.

I am all about Honda but all of the logging and Mining companies run hondas so they have to be doing something right. You can have the nicest, smoothest, best optioned bike on the market and it is all useless if you are in the middle of nowhere and break down. I look at reliability as being the top priority...especially when I am out in the woods alone.
